Volunteer of Year 2010
Jane Gootherts was voted Tom Gleason Memorial Volunteer of 2010.
This award is given to the member, who like Tom, gives without the expectation of a return. Tom Gleason was a member of GRSC for over 20 years and was one of the most active volunteers the club had ever seen. He was always willing to jump in and fix a water leak or patch a roof or just replace an item that was broken or missing. Tom passed away on September 29th, 2003. It is our hope that this award will always keep him in our hearts and minds by presenting it to that person who is as dedicated to keeping the Green River Saddle Club alive as Tom was.
